Grit ’N’ Glory Gym was created by Leanne McCourt as an alternative to busy commercial gyms.
With a background in strength and weight training for women, Leanne works with a small number of clients at a time, offering a calm, considered approach that prioritises proper technique, long-term health, and lasting confidence.
Before opening Grit ’N’ Glory, Leanne spent seven years working on superyachts as a Chief Stewardess, where she also supported guests and yacht owners with one-to-one personal training.
This experience shaped her coaching style - attentive, discreet, and rooted in exceptional service. Leanne understands the importance of trust, continuity, and discretion, and brings the same level of care to every woman she trains.
Creating a space where women can train safely and effectively in an environment that feels calm, welcoming, and supportive.
MY METHOD
No two women are the same, and training should never follow a one-size-fits-all formula. Every programme is personalised and adapted to your body, experience, lifestyle, and goals.
Strength and weight training focus on building and maintaining muscle mass and bone density, supporting long-term health, confidence, and independence as we age. Sessions prioritise controlled, well-executed movements, where technique and form are valued over speed or intensity.
Training moves at your pace, with no pressure and no comparison - the only competition is with yourself. Progress is steady, considered, and sustainable.
Alongside training, clients receive simple, practical nutritional guidance to support their goals. Training Progress is tracked through a dedicated app, allowing you to see improvements over time and stay connected to your programme between sessions.
The aim is to build strength that supports how you want to live - now and in the years ahead.
